PYEBAEK
Pyebeak is a traditional Korean wedding ceremony that is held after the actual wedding ceremony. It is a way for the groom to pay his respects to the bride's family and to formally acknowledge his new in-laws.
During the Pyebeak ceremony, the groom and his family visit the bride's family home. They bring gifts such as money, rice cakes, and other traditional items. The groom then kneels in front of the bride's parents and offers the gifts to them. The bride also kneels beside the groom and offers a cup of tea to her parents-in-law.
